This site is working very slowly.
I was unable to buy something from Amazon with a site not found message.
Down for everyone would not load either.
Is it just me?

Same here, unable to access any sites for about 15 minutes, appears back to normal now.

Same... router reported login success after reboot but unable to ping the DNS servers that Plusnet automatically provide at login.
Working now but I changed DNS servers as a precaution.

Thanks both, I was hungry so went and had lunch. All working again now, with no changes.

As an aside, I have now found this message on the service status page, but how did you get it via email? I can not see anywhere to subscribe.

I seem to be having some connectivity problems today. My email monitor frequently reports that it couldn't access my mailbox - I'm still getting the mail - it just can't always get an answer when it asks.
I also find that visiting many sites initially gives me a backwards (anticlockwise) connection indicator, suggesting it's not going to work, before it sorts itself out, and the indicator starts going clockwise.
This is not very easy to explain, as I don't know what that thing is called. The circle that shows that you're connecting...or not. Backwards circling usually means not.

I seem to have been having problems for a number of days. My browser sometimes hangs at name resolution. At first I thought it might be Google DNS servers so I changed to OpenDNS, still got the occasional problem.
Luckily on my system I'm able to route specific browsers through specific VPN servers or directly through Plusnet - at the same time. When a page hangs on a normal Plusnet connection it will load instantly on a second browser routed through a VPN.
So although I haven't reached any definitive conclusion something somewhere doesn't seem right.

Better. I'm still not sure if it's completely OK. I haven't had the mail warning about failure to connect anymore today, but sites still seem a bit slow connecting.

This has got me thinking actually. Three days ago I upgraded my main PC to Windows 10. Since then, web browsing has been sluggish, to say the least (normally using Chrome, as before). I've been blaming Windows 10 but maybe the reason lies somewhere else.

It's terrible tonight, and I see PN service status is reporting some connectivity problems, so I don't know if it's all part and parcel of that, or if it's specific to my connection.
I'm seeing random, brief disconnects, and when it does stay connected, I'm getting speeds more on a par with dial-up (I've got ADSL, but not fibre).
The support page says a single router reboot should fix it, but I've tried twice now, with no improvement.
Outside support hours now, and whilst they will be able to log it tomorrow, I doubt any action will be taken 'til Monday.

Does your phone have a dial tone?

Yep!
Been through PN's troubleshooting - their stats show I've lost connection at least twice a day in the past week.
I've got up to "try with a different microfilter". I think there is one in the house, but I'm not sure where. Too late to start searching now, so it will have to wait 'til tomorrow.
Edit: I done did find one! New out of a sealed bag.
Speed seems better, but mailbox monitor still reporting timeouts, so I'm not sure if I've fixed one problem, but there's still another.

No problems at all for me now.

Good, but check again immediately if/while the broadband goes extremely slow. The reason for checking is that broadband can work, but very crippled, on only one wire of the pair, but the phone will not have a dial tone without both connected.
