Plusnet 1 & HH5 or other?

Having moved from BT to PN, I have found the HH5B is quicker than the PN1, by several mbs. I was wondering if I updated the HH5 to the ZyXel VMG1312, would I see a little more improvement ? (it has G.INP & G.Vector and the interface isn't locked down like on the PN1 & HH5).

Anyone care to advise, suggest or what ever..

You may well do, plus you would be able to monitor the stats as a bonus.

cant you just use the hh5b with plusnet?

As suggested use the HH5b. I second that. It will work just fine on plusnet you just need to edit the username and password info.

That would be useful, the BQM has proved invaluable unlike unlike Sam Knows, which does what exactly? Running a good router will give me some limited control over the settings and what DNS servers I want to use.

I've taken the following off my HH5 from before PN
DSL Link Up: Down Rate=79999Kbps, Up Rate=19999Kbps; SNR Margin Down=8.9dB, Up=15.2dB

Now if I could change the SNR to this I'd be a happy bunny (rather than PN's 6.2db Down)
