Hi
I am looking at an ADSL bonding provider that can bond customer supplied lines.

They specifically said to avoid Plusnet as their solution involves UDP encapsulation and that this would be a problem for the Plusnet traffic management.

Can anyone confirm this?

I think you misread what I said (or I explained it badly). The bonding provider is separate to the ISP. They bond lines the customer supplies. They can be from any ISP.

I would accept what the bonding provider said if seriously considering them.

Incidentally, do you need bonding, or will line sharing do? The latter is much simpler and cheaper.

* Some ISP's offer this as a specific add on service. Sorry I do not have a list
* You can buy a load balancer that shares outbound connections across 2 or more adsl lines. You are still limited to the max speed of a single ADSL line, but 2 users could be using 1 line each
* you can use something line http://sharedband.com which is ISP independent. That allows multiple ADSL lines to be added together and act line a single line.
