How can a company win a mobile aware with only a few months to go on? As for a broadband aware, clearly they have not used nor called Plusnet lately.

I wonder how much gets bunged to these places

I did for life mobile, but that was a non starter. can't use a mobile network if they don't send you a SIM!

That's now Plusnet Mobile, so in a way I am glad that happened. I would have quit anyway before it swapped over otherwise

I can vouch for this. Been with PN since 2013 and only had 1 minor problem and that was with a certain router. They sent me a replacement in a few days and everything's been great since.

I've also used their Live Chat feature as well as their forums and they've been excellent.

On the topic of retentions, I was amazed at how quickly they agreed to continue the reduced rate of BB. I've been paying £2.50 a month for about 15/16 meg which is more than enough.

So a pretty massive applause from this corner here smile

I must admit I too have had a pretty good experience from PN with regard to my 20CN ADSL connection of around 3-4 miles away pretty solid if slow and I've had no real issues with billing so far.

The only beef was November's renewal offer from the COT as the retention deal was not as good as I had hoped for from past experiences but as the exchange is market A (used to be market 1) so it is not PN classed as a low cost area so no cheap deals, the cost for BB was £9.99 a month on a12 month contract (first offer from COT was for 24 months) which I must confess is less than the full price for a connection NOT in a PN low cost area.

Best Provider Customer Service - just shows how rubbish the other big ISP's are assuming it is this link which doesn't work in the opening post https://www.uswitch.com/broadband/news/2017/02/plusn... or this one http://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2017/02/uswitch...

Ditto,

been with Plusnet since 2013 have called support twice

1. and was answered withing 4 rings (about 9:00pm) it was an openreach problem & was cleared shortly afterwards
Good performance throughout, but on reading about customer service I feel nervous should I ever have a real problem
2. quick answer to my call ,problem with my non supported router setting (my fault) the CS rep assisted & got me sorted

TBH, the mobile is fine now they got the data sorted, signal is good in most places, naff at work mind you and at a mates of mine, but all signals are naff at my mates place. work is not much better for other providers either, too much metal in the buidling. but if anyone wants me in emergency, they can phone work.

but elsewhere the signal is fine and it is good value for the price.
