Two part question really.
Firstly can anyone advise what is currently being issued for Plusnet ADSL customers please?
Secondly will I be able to see my own website (DMZ set on current router) as some models do not seem to be able to do this? - NAT Loopback
TIA

Basically it's a BT HH 5A different wrapper.
No idea - it's pretty locked down though

I thought that was the Hub One?
Apparently they are issuing the Sagemcom 2704N ADSL 2/2+

I was issued the PlusNet Hub One around 18 months ago. Unless they now have superceded it, it looks like in the picture here:-
https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-setup-gui...
I'm assuming it caters for ADSL aswell as VDSL, alhough it's been difficult to find a specification sheet on it.

You and a few others.
Unless things have changed its a hub zero for ADSL and a hub one for fibre.

Johnlewis BB (aka Plusnet) supplied me with a Sagemcom 2704N ADSL 2/2+ router.
It seemed reasonable, but you need to go in to the hidden expert view to disable DHCP (I had two lines so already had it running). Also it doesn't work with the ThinkBroadband ping checker.

Ironic that the branded/BT badged HH5A I have worked better than the one hub did.
no idea why.. firmware maybe?

I understand this is what the Plusnet hub zero is.

Router arrived followed by an email telling me as I "hadn't ordered a router .." ??? It was a Sagemcom 2704N ADSL 2/2+
Phone line was switched today and I got home to an inactive router. Reconfiguring username and password didn't have any effect, so had to ring Plusnet. Reasonable wait time, which amazed me and helpful staff who just reset something their end and away I went.
So aside from the wrong phone number on the letter I was sent. Took a while for the chap to accept perhaps they should give out the right number. Looks like things might be improving.

They could improve immensely by activating the broadband on the account at the start of the day the service is supposed to go live.
As it is, and always has been, they only do so when they receive the sporadic reports that Openreach have completed the setup/migration. Which can take hours. There are literally hundreds of cases historically on these forums of people like yourself having to ring up to get their new broadband working.

Yes, improvements could be made.
My real point is they seem to be improving over when I was with them a year ago. I don't think they will ever be as good as when I was with them three or four years back, but you have to compare with current competitors. EE for example were the worst ISP I have ever had!

I don't think I could ever go back to Plusnet. If I got so I couldn't afford the £48 I pay now TalkTalk would be in the running, probably direct or maybe through Pulse8. Possibly dropping down to 55/10 or 40/10. TT have the deals though that P8 don't, and in such circumstances they would be relevant.

No, although my dealings were with John Lewis Broadband - they are are just a Plusnet operation using a different website/phone line.
They failed to resolve or take ownership of my *line problems which persisted for the 3 months I had their service.
In the end we agreed to cancel the contract and walk away without penalty.
*was a 2nd line installation
