Plusnet share e-mail addy without permission

I received an e-mail from 'comm.plus.net' (Adestra).

The absolute last thing I wanted was my e-mail addy shared with a damned marketing company. I've had single figure spam to my inbox in the past five years, due to not sharing it with anyone that I don't know / trust.

They e-mailed me to tell me that the e-mail I previously got (I received no such e-mail) regarding price rises was in error.

They have no clue over who received what, and shared my private e-mail addy with 3rd party. Last straw. See how that marketing worked out for you Plusnet.

About 10 years ago they sent customers other customer's e-mail addresses in a massive DP breach - I was there when they did - in fact I took the call from the guy (solicitor) who was threatening legal action against PN. I got the problem sorted with Networks and saved them a costly legal battle - I got zero thanks. It was a large amount too.

I think it's more likely the company they use https://www.adestra.com/ which stats they are a "Customer Driven Email Marketing Platform"

If you look up the IP address for comm.plus.net it doen't look to go anywhere near Plusnet!

And now getting regular spam. Thanks Plusnet. Way to go. Had this domain for 13 years with almost no spam. Now had spam about every 2-3 days since.
