Plusnet has removed current line speed

Has anyone notice that PN has now removed current line speed speed to check plusnet profile speed check

PN, if it was removed off please put it back as we have the rights to check what our line speed are with PN along side with BTw bras profile speed check.

They do occasionally and have done quite recently. As for the removal of that facility, it was taken off the menus a couple of years ago so I'm not surprised it no longer works. It's a shame because it is useful information when diagnosing problems, I just hope the support staff still have access to it (and understand what it means!)

I'm not surprised as the line speed was no longer updated properly for users that had been moved over onto Plusnet's "new" network a few years ago. From the questions I asked on the Plusnet forums at the time, they no longer use line speed to set a speed profile for connections on the "new" network.

The exception to this was users who had paid for a static IP address, they still had a Plusnet speed profile and accurate line speed information.

I left Plusnet a couple of years ago so I don't know if this is sill the case.

I have a static IP address so my speed probably is still affected by the Plusnet profile.

I also have static ip address too.
