Sad news to learn about an old friend passing away last night, many of you will know Ron from the old plusnet days!

RIP Ron - https://community.plus.net/t5/user/viewprofilepage/u...

That is sad news. I don't follow much at Plusnet these days, just what pops up here now and again. Many forum members that were there when I was a regular (Anotherone) have gone or passed away. Ron was kind enough to thank me for my input to the PN Forum in 2016. I see things don't seem to change much there, same old problems!
RIP Ron.

Oh dear, yet another long time Plusnet forum compatriot down.
I've just been reading Ron's last 100 posts from 6 years ago, his issues then are the same as those still being posted now !
Ron, like many of us, called out Plusnet's failings in the hope that things would improve, but sadly nothing ever got any better.
I've just left Plusnet forum for the third time (and third username), and now looking for a friendlier tech forum to contribute to, preferably where the moderators don't silently delete my posts, and the uninformed trolls don't try to silence those who know what they're talking about.
@beefcakechipz what was your Plusnet forum username ?
Hi @ChrisAO !
Rest in peace Ron !.

Hi @purleigh, nice to hear from you. Yes it's sad that things at Plusnet haven't really changed. On the rare occasion I visit, I see the same old same old, Doesn't look as though @beefcakechipz has posted back.
I noted that a few of the good oldies have gone in the last couple of years..
