Do SKY answer their emails?

[link to this post]

I sent a polite email to SKY over a week ago asking if they could advise me why I am not on ADSL 2+ and as of yet there has been no reply not even an autoresponder.

I take it [email protected] is the correct address I am supposed to be using?

I gave my username, viewing card number and tel number so there shouldnt be an issue in finding my subs.

have any of you had a prompt reply from that address?

I had a reply but not sure prompt would be the answer! Ring them on 08705 515515 as I believe the free phone number may be out of use.

Sky answer emails?? .. good heavens that would mean they would actually have to make some attempt to "help you" and offer some form of customer service!!!

I never got a reply using that email, but did get a automated message explaining in great detail how to use there online support (lol..yeah right..) forms..oh thank you Sky ;0)

Then you need to work out "which" form fits your enquiry, otherwise... yep you guessed it, they send you yet "another automated" message to say please use the correct form... lol.. ohh I love Sky customer services just for the sheer laughable factor in which they work...and the fact that 80% of there staff have absolutley no idea what they are doing..(just speak to Tech Support and you'll sone grasp what I mean...) I pity customers who ahve no technical knowledge at all, I really do..

Thankfully, I don't need to participate in Sky's Runaround Circus (useless support and overall awful service) anymore. For me enough was enough, wished Sky farewell, requested my MAC, opened the door and slammed it tightly closed behind me... and I aint looked back since! My advice... and if I am a minority, my aplogies, but get out and find a quality ISP.. Sky may be cheap, but ya can sure understand why!
