Router

Hi, Ive ordered sky today, so do I need to get some sort of dongle to connect to the wireless router or does it comewith one, help appreciated

Downstream 6595 Kbps (824.4 KB/sec) 7122 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 666 Kbps (83.3 KB/sec) 719 Kbps (inc. overheads)

if you want to access is wirelessly then you will need to have or purchase a wireless network card. However the Netgear router you get comes with 4 wired ethernet ports and you get the cable with it so presuming you have an ethernet connection on your pc you should be ok with that

The router comes with and Ethernet cable but you can either use your own wireless adapter or buy one from Sky (Listed as �23.50 including postage and packaging on the Sky Broadband Equipment FAQ's)

Yeah I am in the migration process coming from Madasafish (MAAF) and I have just purchased this one:

Good value as the earlier poster said ;0) Saying that I have always preferred wired connection, my experience of "wireless" connections have always been slow, but that was about a year ago...so maybe its time to go wireless with my new ISP ;0)
