Checker says yes for my exchange and another local exchange, though Samknows says no.
Plugged in numbers attached to other local exchanges and get the sorry you aren't on our network message.
So, I'm moving one of my current 20CN lines over to Sky Unlimited + Sky Line Rental! Activation date showing as 18/01/11, so we'll see how that goes

Same here, presume you are in wales from your user name, bit dubious as the checker has done this before

I know the checker previously stated that all exchanges were being activated within the next three months.
But in this case, it isn't effecting every exchange. Exchanges further from here and in totally different places still say they are not in Sky Broadband areas.
Yeah, in Wales, Menai Bridge, though it would appear the Bangor (Gwynedd) exchange has been unbundled by Sky also!

Very close to you then in HH. going to give them a phone

How did it go?
I did a postcode check for somewhere in Holyhead and it comes up with yes, but I can't fathom how to do a phone number check as the site insists I log in, and because I've put an order through on a number already, doesn't let me check a phone number.
Looks like they have sent out my 'Wireless Router' though, and activation is scheduled for 18/01/11

Well I did phone them and they have assured me it's enabled, I don't want to change the phone line at the moment so need a mac code, so I have to wait for thet, they have placed my order but can't complete until I receive it

I got my MAC from AAISP late evening in less than two minutes!

mine's closed till tomorrow so will have to wait till then unfortunately

Aww, AAISP were able to get me my MAC automatically without human intervention, I guess.
AAISP are a quality ISP though, but IDNET is still my second recommendation for users who don't think they will manage the potentially costly 9-6 M-F usage costs

I got an activation of the 12th by email, phoned with my mac today
|
|
|
12th?!
Guess thats because I'm taking my rental over too and they have to wait a defined time before they can take over the line.
BT called me today to confirm I wanted to cease my line on the 18th, which happens to be the same date I am scheduled to be activated.
