Any intel on newly enabled exchanges by Sky LLU?

Hi guys,

Has anyone heard anything about Sky enabling more exchanges so far this year?

I'm not sure how up to date the data is but the page suggests it is updated weekly and it does appear to have been updated two days ago

I've been keeping an eye on that for quite a while but no changes for Sky recently

Sky did mine at the end of July

my little village was done in October. I was very surprised that a semi rural exchange would have been done! I'm assuming they go on the amount of Sky dishes on the houses

Best place to check is the Sky checker....keep trying it with your number.

As Samknows can take almost a month to get updated with the details.

Mine was done in Jan I think not sure as I didn't try the sky checker itself, samknows wasn't reporting it as being done so I took that as gospel, best to try the sky checker itself

You might find that might play a factor! But also notice that Opal are popping up in unusual places, I'm seeing them in places with just 1500-2000 lines.

That's good news for me then if they keep doing that (I'm on a 1415 line exchange) . Only thing is, Opal isn't Sky

How many lines does your exchange have may I ask?



What IS VERY weird is that Opal have unbundled a 413 line exchange (Yes, that IS 413 lines) about 2-3 km from where I live It's the next exchange along from me, going the OTHER way from the big Market 3 exchange, Bridgwater - WWBWAT. Why would they bother doing that!?
