How to monitor D-Link ?

Hi sky bb users,

A friend of mine has a Sky LLU line but he's been getting for a long time random disconnections - Sky tech support have sent him various routers, and he's now on a D-Link.

However his disconnections have restarted about once every 8 minutes.

Is there anything he can run/use to monitor the status of a Sky D-Link router? I'm thinking similar to RouterStats or similar?

I'm convinced it has to be a line issue, but Sky themselves are not, and are refusing another router swap.
