Sky LLU when area is BT FTTC...

I am currently on the Sky LLU package, which i am pretty happy about.
My exchange (Folkestone) has just been put on BT's list for FTTC in 2012, will this affect me in any way i.e will Sky be able to provide me a FTTC service as a result, or would i have to either stay with sky on far slower speeds but unlimited useage, or go to BT and have fantastic speed but not be able to make the most of it due to useage caps?

Sky could offer a FTTC product, but nothing has been announced yet. BT Infinity has unlimited usage.

But, if you use P2P be aware that at peak times this IS throttled.

BT and unlimited doesn't compute!

i thought fttc had a 40gb cap? i just can't see BT allowing me to download at max speeds continuously when steam have a mad sales weekend!

2nd ISP - Pipex 512K, then 1Mb
3rd ISP - PlusNet 2Mb, kicked off after being placed on the bad boy pipe
4th ISP - Zen 2Mb. no probs at all.
5th ISP - Bulldog 4Mb then 8Mb, now 18Mb
6th ISP - O2. 18-20MB
7th ISP - O2 access. 8meg limited
8th ISP - Sky. too soon to tell

That is Infinity Option 1, Option 2 is unlimited.

BT -> Zen -> F2S -> Bulldog -> Be* -> BT Infinity

no way BT is allowing that. got to be a FUP that comes along with it to prevent that.

why not allow them to advertise it as free - apart from the monthly fee [censored]

I was under the impression that there was also a 300gb FUP. Although I could be wrong. Have read this on the BT forums I think.

EDIT: THIS FUP WAS REMOVED IN APRIL. IT IS UNLIMITED, yes with traffic management but this doesn't stop you downloading several TB a month,
