Is anyone else experiencing slow and intermittent website access via Easynet backhaul this morning? Not a local problem with DNS, nor an exchange issue, for me.
Nothing on the Easynet service status (but that's not unusual).
Was very intermittent in the early hours at about 1am, was unable to ping or access any websites but the connection was still up. Lasted for about 30min but seems ok now.

Ping monitoring on my connection shows an outage between 2am and 4am this morning. At around 4am my IP address (connected via MER) changed for the first time in a few months.

Thanks everyone: back to its normal good self now, was intermittent here (in Essex) from 10am -12noon (might have been problems earlier but I wasn't aware of them) though the ping monitor seemed OK. .

Given the news today about Sky blocking access to Newzbin, I believe my outage for 2 hours on Tuesday 13th December, followed by new hops in traceroute and a new IP could be related to content filtering measures being introduced.
