Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro

Hi everyone,

Has anyone got any comments or feedback on this service from Sky. I am just about to convert from BT you Sky for my phone and broadband saving some £60 a month.

I will be going from 5MB to a 60MB service.

Anything to look out for? Be aware of?

I was with Fast.co.uk but was unable to make any use of the unlimited downloads due to a useless down rate.

Looking foward to be able to stream TV etc.

5Meg should have been able to stream TV, my Sky line at 6 Meg does fine, with two TV streams even.

So unless the whole world is using it once you should be fine with 60 Meg fibre

How long did you get the line rental deal for?

my line rental with sky is provided by wholesale line rental rather than full LLU. When i switched from BT i got 12 months free. Something similar would persuade me to get fibre.....

Just out of interest, which BT phone and broadband package were you on and how much did it cost?

I was paying £48 for a non limited service with Fast.co.uk and my BT contract had never been updated, I was paying £50 a month.

So I have saved myself a fortune and got a supior service.

£50 a month for your line rental and call package? Wow.
