September 2012 price increase

Sky have released details about their September price increase.

For existing phone and broadband customers:
- no broadband/phone rental increases
- call set up and per minute charges to increase
- no more discount on calls to mobiles for Talk Unlimited customers

For new customers:
- No more free evening calls
- Line rental rises to £14.50

Could be a good time for people thinking about Sky to sign up, but we don't know how long existing customers get the reduced line rental for, yet.

Good grief, i am so glad i did not go for Sky when I was thinking of it. so no change on their broadband, but since you have to use their phone service, that means nothing.

£1.50 rise as well for entertainment or entertainment extra. don't sky realise that there are now other ways to watch TV?

I know a couple of people who will cut down their packages, get rid of sports, movies or both, they been looking at gutting down for a while, so this will give them a good reason to do so or get rid of Sky full stop
