Sorry if this is a simple basic question.
My ISP is Sky (unlimited)
My router is synced at 12563kbps down and 1204kbps up
I can usually attain around 10Mbps down with a constant 1.1Mbps up.
I have had severe problems in the evening with my download speed falling as low 0.27 kbps
I have had 3 visits from Openreach who say I am suffering from either a REIN or SHINE issue
Yesterday Openreach disconnect my line at the cabinet and connected me to a another line back to the exchange. They also fitted another master box and socket with both telephone and ADSL sockets I non longer have any filters
My telephone line and broadband router was disconnected for almost 4 hours.
However the Thinkbroadband Ping monitor does not show any break in service only a higher latency figure and dropped packets.
If my router is disconnected from the master socket and the line is disconnected at the cabinet how can the Ping Monitor still record?
