Fluctuating Astraweb Speeds

Noticed recently that during downloading, my speeds fluctuate from 25mb/s to as low as 2mb/s over a short period. This can go on for any length of time. I have tested speeds when this happened on standard speedtest sites, and I'm fine with a 30mb/s download result.

Any thoughts on this, as I understand Sky Fibre has no traffic shaping...

Doesn't sound right to me, im on Newshosting, and get around 4.32 Mb/s - 4.47 Mb/s download speed all the time, on the up to 38Mb Fibre, wired connection, and you are right, they don't do traffic shaping.

I know the wireless is not very good, so if you're using that, it might be the prob, so try wired.

On astra web with no slowdowns that I've notices always above 30Mb/s.
