Sky Fibre speed bump - UP!

My Sky fibre connection is rock solid (at least since they fixed a recurring fault a few months ago) and stays up for weeks at a time. Its so solid I don't check the router stats that often but I did it today to find that it re-set a couple of days ago and has re-synced at 40 / 8, which I'm not supposed to be able to get !

Anyone else seen this bump from Sky? I was solid at 37 / 7.2 previously.

Very possibly down to the G.INP roll-out that is replacing interleaving and is giving some people a boost in connection speed once the overheads of interleaving are removed

Even without interleave it seems to be adding a couple of Mb here and there, which is good.

My sync speed was 39998/9999 and now it shows an even 40000/10000 but my ping has almost doubled :/
