Using a TP-LINK TD-8817 Modem

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience using a TP-LINK TD-8817 with Sky. I have had issues with the Black SR102 on my line. It will just drop constantly. I spoke to an excellent engineer who said they had seen issues with SR102s on some lines and send me a SR101. It was rock solid. That has now began to play up after a power cut and Sky replaced it. Unfortunately they sent me an SR102 and that still doesn't work.

I was thinking of using my Apple Extreme basestation and getting a TP-LINK TD-8817 modem. Has anyone had any experience of these modems on Sky?

I am using a TDW8968 on Sky and it is excellent, very stable 8Mb connection. Not sure how it compares with the 8817.
