Migrated from BT line drops 10Mb ? Right ?

Hi - looking for a little advice if you could please? Recently migrated from BT Infinity2 where we were getting a rock solid 64-68Mb download on a OpenReach Modem & HH4. BT Wholesale Performance tester showed line speed max of 69.9.

Migrated to Sky last week onto FibreMax with SkyQ hub and line dropped to <50Mb on migration. Had an OpenReach engineer around today who made some changes to the cabinet and now tells me that maximum line rate is 59Mb (and are you sure you'll notice the speed anyway? )

Would this normal to drop 10Mb on a migration? Having never migrated before with FTTC unsure how hard to push this with Sky or if to use the cooling off period to migrate back again?

New line stats are as follows; (dont have the ones from before migration sorry!)

The migration may have reset G.INP which can account for 6 to 10 Mbps of speed for some people, i.e.it is now turned off and may switch back in time.

Alas without knowing what the line stats were before, and hardware that will tell you exactly what is happening now in terms of vectoring and G.INP it is hard to know.

That said you are the second person with a Sky Q hub reporting lower speeds so it may be the chipset in the Sky Q hub is not great for VDSL2.

you could always reconnect your old router and see what speed you get. Obviously you will not get an internet connection but the line may sync & you can see the stats in your old router.
