Solid Orange Face - SR102

One of my mates is having issues with his Sky Fibre connection. Seems to be getting a solid Orange face one router. The trouble shooting only covers a flashing orange face.

I think the sync remains on the line, and when it works is it works well. Any ideas?

I'm going to lend him my Sky Router, as I'm now using a Vigor 130 instead and tat might help to determine if it is his Sky Router (SR102), or something outside the house.

yeah I think orange means you got sync but no active connection to sky (dhcp auth fail). Flashing I think is trying to sync. No face at all means no dsl signal.

I am not sure on this tho, since I have only briefly used the skyhub for testing.

It means connected but not authorised.
It happened to me once when my direct debit failed (still not sure why it failed to this date)!

It can also be an issue at sky's end.

The web interface of the router will give more information than the flashing lights so worth accessing that too.

An OpenReach engineer came out in the end, and muttered something about a fibre not being connected properly in the cad. Not quite sure what resolution work he did, but it seemed to work as my mate was back online.
