Switched Back - So Far So Good!

Switched back to Sky around two weeks ago, had been with Pulse8 for two years. Hard to resist as they gave me Sky Fibre Max and landline for £30 a month and I was paying £50.

Lost the static IP address but to be honest I was only using it for the monitoring on TBB, switched to f8lure which works with dynDNS and all is good, if anything my speeds are up 2-3mb per second!

I'm just about to leave as they are charging me approx £38 for just the up to 38 service with no phone calls at all.

Not sure if the deal I had was for new and existing customers, don't remember seeing it excluded existing customers. In fact saw it on here and rang Sky to check if I could get it as I already have TV etc.

Have you called and asked them for the deal? I'm under contract for the 40/10 service and paying similar and they offered me the deal, no hassle at all. In fact when I logged into my sky account the deal was there for me to do online in the my offers section. I would be surprised if they never gave you it.

I phoned and the only deals they could offer were on TV, nothing to reduce the BB cost down.

So I started the migration process on Tuesday and the "sorry you are leaving letters" arrived today with a different number to call incase I'd changed my mine and wanted to stay, so I'll give them a call in the morning and see if they can offer a better deal.

Sky Fibre Cheapest is £35 for Sky Fibre Max or £30 for Sky Fibre Unlimited at the moment.

tbb monitoring does now support ddns addresses too
