It seems like the latest Sky Hub firmware directs third party DNS queries to Sky DNS servers.

I told Sky years ago that simply changing the DNS on devices is enough to bypass the Sky Broadband Shield. At least this plugs that gap, for their new "Sky Broadband Buddy" parental control system.

I can imagine some people will be upset there is no "off" switch for the DNS redirect though, although maybe that is in the works.
