Soon to be Ex BT customer with Wifi Issues

I've got a colleague, who is fed up with BT BB, due to general issues including constant wifi drops out (yes I know it's not to do with the BB, but BT are not helping them selves with their support and HH.)

They are thinking about Zen Unlimited 2 and getting a new router.

Currently they currently have 5 users each with 2 devices (mostly wireless) all using a BT HH2, and lots of streaming.

Couple of questions.

1. As they already have infinity 2, I take it there is no installation required, just a s/w config change at the exchange.

2. What are peoples recommend routers, they are not sure if they need 5Ghz or not, but need good STABLE wireless.

3. Do I get a finders fee ?

1 - Just a MAC code for the transfer I'd have thought
2 - FritzBox or Draytek kit is good
3 - Don't think there's a referral scheme

One thing to bear in mind, if it's your hardware, the ISP won't be able to support it.
