IPv6, Cisco 877, Zen. Anyone else?

Hi all

I have IPv6 with Zen and a Cisco 877, with BTW backhaul (upto 8mb). I have got IPv6 working but I am not sure I have done it correctly so I'm looking to pool ideas/suggestions/war stories with others.

Also, has anyone managed to get Zen to assign a rDNS (PTR) record for them? I've been asking for days, and all my googlemail emails get bounced due to lack or IPv6 PTR.

I'm waiting for a reply from the support department about rDNS on IPv6. I'm getting the same bounce backs from googlemail myself. The support person that originally emailed me when i asked said he was going to check, but the person he needed to speak to was on holiday.

Thanks Andrew. I seem to be getting the runaround as I've spoken to two people now and both have said "email ipv6@"...which I've done, several times (politely)

I have horrendous experience of Cisco 877 on ADSL2 or ADSL2+ by the way, somewhat helped by their revised modem code though. Suggest upgrading to 887va!

I have an 887VA here, as I'm setting up fibre for someone lucky enough to get it. I might try it on my ADSL

My ipv6 reverse dns is finally sorted, took 10 days, a bit longer than i was expecting.
