Still Happy

Hi all,

Just thought I'd post again, 5 months in, still exceptionally happy with AAISP! :-)

Great work guys. Especially love the IRC chat. Even if tech support is shut, I can usually get all the advice I need on IRC, so no waiting around. This is a truly good service. Please please please please please don't go and get bought like my last supplier!!! ;-)

Ps - got my dad on AAISP too.

Pps - someone mentioned a spam filter being worked on - any news on that? I have no problems, but he's having a nightmare with spam - he's holding off buying a solution, because he's hoping the AAISP will implement a spam filter on the email...

A&A have brought some new mail servers online which have much improved spam and virus handling over the old ones.

According to here http://www.aaisp.net/email.html you just ask A&A support to move you over and they should take care of it.

Probably worth asking in the IRC channel first though, just to see if there's anything you should know before making the switch.

The new mail platform is working nicely for me but it's still in beta testing.

Andrew's the guy behind it. If you want to get on it I'd suggest popping into #email on irc.aaisp.net.uk (irc://irc.aaisp.net.uk/email).

I'd also love to switch to A&A but their prices and T&Cs don't really suit shift workers who are at home during the working day.

I'm not sure why that wouldn't work for you.
