Excellent Service!

[link to this post]

Having noticed terrible evening speeds, my previous ISPs accepted the "no BT fault" returned back from BT, with the need for an engineer visit and possible charge (plus the engineer would be a day visit when there wasnt a problem!)

After joining AAISP, I mentioned this problem, and within a week they suggested a problem and got BT on the case, who accepted the issue and did the "lift and shift". My evening speeds have gone from under 1Mbps to 5 - 6 laugh I now seem to be using my allowance on speedtests as seeing is believing!! wink

Well Done AAISP smile

There is no doubt that using a quality ISP (AAISP) does make the slightly extra cost well worth every penny. Refreshing to know that the help desk will actually help you.

Although the speed tests seems okay (during none busy times at least, I seem to be getting lot's of network timeouts and general sluggishness. Even google and TBB take ages to load and often fail.

I fired off an email to you on Friday at 11pm regarding interleaving which touched on some of the problems. FWIW though, everything seems fine now. However, I was more inclined to think it was the zytel that was the cause of the problems rather than your connectivity. It seems to dislike torrents even when they are running slowly.

I moved one customer from Orange to AAISP after two months of downtime. AAISP's automatic "BT negotiation" bot re-submitted the fault over 30 times as BT's system was certain there were combinations of a) nothing wrong b) some undefined problem c) problem with customer's equipment d) still nothing wrong. No wonder other ISPs just give up! AAISP got this fixed very quickly and customer has a nice fast, stable line again, with an ISP that cares about their customers and doesn't insult them by not speaking to their spouse/tech support.
