Signed up online last night, got SMS with two dates for migration.
When will my line migrate? I heard that it should be within a few days? I have been given the 10th or 9th April.
Also will I go straight onto WBC or will the line just migrate onto IPstream then migrate to WBC later?
Cheers

Hi, mine is 5 working days - if you have received an email with your username and pasword you can log in and see all your order details and migration date.
As for WBC I can't help - my exchange doesn't even have a date yet

If you are who I think you are then you are going straight onto WBC confirmed for the 9th.

Probably is me, not many with my name!
The status on my account says that the date is not guaranteed, I assume that this means that BT have confirmed the 9th but as with all things BT it can change!
So I will go straight to WBC, I read on your site that connections will go onto the MSAN but at ADSL, then once stable to ADSL2. I am concerned that I have read that some users have gone to the MSAN but had stability problems. Once migrated back to IPstream stability resumes.
Do I need to be worried?

BT have confirmed the 9th to us yes.
The order is to go straight onto ADSL2+, obviously if you have stability or any other problems please let us know straight away.

Just to add, I don't think you need to be worried but I will put a job on your account to check for any problems after the line migrates over to us.

Shaun, thanks I await activation with baited breath!
on another note, are you aware that clueless.aaisp.net.uk gives a security error on login?
There is a problem with this website's security certificate.
The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority.

I had that problem I seem to remember. I just accepted the certificate anyway.

I'm using Chrome (IE8 is a pain!) and it asks every time I log in.
I assume IE remembers after the first login.

IDK, I use FF.

Another question!
I went live today all good so far.
My question is, is it peak tomorrow and Monday (bank hols) for usage?
Looked in the FAQ's but cant see it.
Cheers

Yes, usually peak = Monday to Friday.
Sometimes Christmas is counted as off peak, but bank holidays aren't usually given any special treatment. Shaun or Andrew would know... Ask in the IRC channel (or phone or email them) if you want a quick answer.

Download usage is metered Monday to Friday, including bank holidays.

I have decided to give 21CN another go, as it would be nice to have a working 21CN connection. So signed up last week and migration went through this morning at about 9:30am.
Now connected at:
Modulation: G.992.5 Annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 888 / 17,387
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/MB]: 10.67 / 95.59
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 0.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 10.5 / 23.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 15.5 / 6.0
- it all just works I am shocked and pleased .
Speedtest: http://www.speedtest.net/result/471735438.png
This is from a line that refused to work properly with entas 21CN - had lots of throughput issues. It seems it just works right from the word go on aaisp . Although I notice since the line is interleaved the upload seems to be capped at 888, but meh. As long as it works
