Upload rates on ADSL2+ service

[link to this post]

I'm thinking of migrating to A&A, but wanted a quick question answered- my exchange (Perth, Scotland) seems to be ADSL2+ active. If I take the Professional broadband, will I get the full ADSL2+ upload speed without paying extra for the 'Premium' option?

Thanks.

If we are supplying ADSL2+ to you on the Professional broadband package then the uplink is uncapped.

Thanks- I thought I'd made an edit earlier on, but must have omitted 'Save.' Oops. I got an email reply:

"With ADSL2 the upload speed is close to 1Mbps, so you will not need to pay extra for the Premium service. "

I'm on the 1gb basic packages, and my uplink speed seems to be ether about 400K or about 800K. I not sure why it changes on some resync's. It guess it could be BT's DLM stuff or a 21cn teething problem. When its about 800K the uplink SNR is less than the downlink SNR.

PM me your details and I can take a look.
