AAISP - fancy a challenge ?

[link to this post]

My business broadband line with Zen has been faulty for 22 days now, and I've even had to email the CEO of BT to try to resolve the problem, but the fault is still ongoing. You can see post's about it in the Zen forum.

If I came over to AAISP, would you be able to get BT to get my line working properly ? I'm not asking for mega-fast speeds - I just need a reliable broadband service. If I migrate to AAISP, I would probably go for the Professional 6GB service + Premium service.

Also, would asking for 16 IP addresses be a big deal ?

Making BT take faults seriously (and fix them) is an AAISP speciaility, so they should be able to do something.

16 IPs is pretty standard, and absolutely nothing compared to some people.

Quickest way to get a response is to hop onto #A&A on irc.nixhelp.org (staff are only guaranteed to be there during working hours, but are often hanging around outside that). Or email sales explaining the situation if you're not into IRC.

Yes why not!

I have read through that thread but I will personally be away next week so if you place an order please follow up with an email to support with details (include the thread) and we would be happy to investigate this problem.

As for IP addresses 16 will be fine.

I can see Shaun lacing up his kickin' boots in preparation.

Shaun is off with the sniffles*, but RevK has been unleashing his own set of attack dogs over the last couple of days.

* Technically, anyway.. as you can see he's still working.

Just one more concern - due to a series of faults, my broadband speed is closer to 2Mbps than the 2.5 to 2.8 Mbps that it achieved when first installed. With Zen, I have an MTR of 2848, and a FTR of 1993. I'm worried that if I transfer over to you, I may not be able to achieve this with a fault still on the line, and BT won't want to know unless the BB drops a lot lower ?
