aaisp & .nu suffix

[link to this post]

After seeing a link Andrew (Mr Saffron) had posted to aaisp in another thread, I started doing some research on that suffix and some of it's history as I hadn't seen it before. However i couldn't find anything very recent as to how the suffix is obtainable and if all legal wranglings had sorted themselves out with the island.
Just interested really - anyone got any links on info about this? www.aa.nu

Thanks

You can register .nu via many domain registrars.. or even via http://www.nu/.

In reference to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.nu:
.nu is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) assigned to the island state of Niue. It was one of the first ccTLDs to be marketed to the Internet at large as an alternative to the gTLDs .com, .net, and .org. Playing on the phonetic similarity between nu and new, it was promoted as a "new" TLD in which there was an abundance of good domain names available.
