Unsure

[link to this post]

after reading 'news' on the home page of what "'the Christmas period will be treated as night time for usage metering" means, is that the off-peak tariff eg. my 100GBs rate or the overnight free time, with 4 GBs daytime tariff scrubbed till jan 1st. ? confused

Sorry still new to AAISP so still learning so would appreciate clarification. Thanks. smile

Hi

Thank you for your concerns. Its the same as last year but http://aaisp.blogspot.com/2008/12/unmetered-christma... might be clearer for you.

Please advise if you are still unsure.

Even though this is the Christmas period and staff are limited the MD will still be keeping an eye out for any major issues but lets hope every customer has a enjoyable experience over the Christmas period. Please feel free to ask questions in the mean time..

Apart from probably the best ISP there is another fine gesture.
(If Carling did ISPs then AAISP is their perfect model)

Well this time EDF are the 'guilty' party as the power was cutting in and out last night blaming high winds and the snow which naturally has caused my profile to plummet frown Led to me pulling the plug on the router for a good resynch this lunchtime.

When will AAISP be able to control all this BRAS stuff themselves ?

BT now allow us to reset a target noise margin back to 6db, this is 20CN ONLY. IT does not allow us to set any other margin. 6db or nothing...

Worth noting that BT also restart the training period when we put a reset through, it also sorts the BRAS profile (if needed)

We can request a reset either from BT'e eco system or XML.

It takes between 10 minutes and a few hours to filter through BT's systems

Thanks for the reply Shaun.
How refreshing to get a comprehensive answer from an ISP.
I'll probably be joining you in January.
