I had to fiddle around

[link to this post]

Due to boredom last night I sort of clicked on some buttons on the Control panel and this morning noticed this which of course I don't understand frown
Are there any links/buttons on there which I may cause myself a big problem by clicking before the Xmas weariness really sets in ?

No, you've just done a line test, that's all. Nothing to worry about.

on the control panel you cant really do anything dangerous, switch from interleaved on to inlerlaved off or auto. switch your stability modes and change your tariff. get your mac code etc....

The line test button is useful to check your stats and profile without having to delve into your router.

You cant really click anything wrong. you could click the Kill button which at most would reset your session

Even if you clicked to get your mac code nothing would happen unless you use it!

I can't see this option?

Mind you, I recall seeing the option for MAC code etc, but can't find that now.

You see different buttons when you are in different areas, I think it appears if you click on your telephone number at the top of the home page. That's where it appears for me.

Totally can't find it.

I'm logging in on the 'broadband' login.

Then I get shown a yellow/green graph of my activity. I click on my phone number in the top right which brings up more detail. But the only buttons I have are :
Mark as not to be upgraded to ADSL2+, Kill(LNS) ,Kill (BT)

and a series of other links. I know I've seen Mac request and cease somewhere. Where the hell are they?!?!?

I seem to recall when I was on AAISP, that when you have made a change on the line - some of the options then might vanish whilst that change is going through.

Once complete, they re-appear... Have you ordered a stability/interleaving change?
