Well I think its good to rant
I can only tell you my personal experience. My speeds are now consistent with AAISP even in the evenings I get good throughput despite being on only 20CN, in fact they give me the best service in that way of any ISP I have used (except for when I have line faults

). Your dodgy speeds in the evening would possibly either disappear as mine did or would be sorted out for you
The status pages are wonderful so at least faults can be instantly seen by users . Even me, who is the most non-techy person here, can use the irc channel as well for help. More instantaneous than email.
The control panel gives you more to play around with than you could ever dream of from an ISP, takes a lot of the stress away.
The unit pricing whilst initially looking difficult is actually very good indeed and if you do migrate you may actually find its cheaper than IDnet as don't forget AAISP peak hours are business hours 9-6 Mon-Fri. so weekends and evenings are'cheaper'.
New house wiring okay ?
