I just submitted a support ticket myself.
Seemed sluggish all evening so ran some speedtests and was getting around the 2mb from all.
This line always runs at full 7mb usually.
I've followed the reports about congestion but i've never seen it this slow since i've been here.

Mines ERX15 KINGSTON3 and I'm in Sussex.
Getting better

Is there an irony smiley?

I've copied and pasted this from AAISP's status page. It's seems as though 20CN lines are suffering at the moment.
"In spite of clear indications that we are not the bottle-neck on 20CN in the evenings, we are increasing capacity even more to BT to give us more headroom and make absolutely sure.
This is expensive (more expensive than getting a new member of staff), but the quality of the service is important to us and we want to be quite sure that we are not the cause of the reported slow speeds. We suspect BT issues, but it will help if we can prove that to BT by having more headroom on our lines. Then we can get BT to improve it's network.
This may take a couple of days to complete, so thank you for your patience.
Note: We say clear indications we are not the bottle-neck... Yesterday evening there were some reports of slow speed on 20CN lines, but at the same time a customer was averaging more than 7M on a 7.15M line over 10 minutes on a single TCP connection. He uses the same connection our end and the same LNS and so on, so no reason in our network other customers would be slowing down, even though we could see that the links to BT at our end were very busy around that time. "

Thanks for that. I'll be patient at least for a day or two.

I've noticed slow down in the evenings/weekends too.
South East RAS ERX2-ILFORD3
Drops from
8Mb at 6:00am - 09:00am
4Mb during the day
2Mb between 18:00 and 22:00.
Then slowly rises back up to 8Mb after that.

This gets confusing, I'll have to consider asking support to look into this.

11/02/10 18:40 3435.01 Kbps 369.97 Kbps 81.187.93.44

11/02/10 18:17 2113.20 Kbps 374.19 Kbps 81.187.93.44 home
11/02/10 18:12 1249.08 Kbps 376.51 Kbps 81.187.93.44 home
11/02/10 12:06 2106.09 Kbps 374.22 Kbps 81.187.93.44 home
11/02/10 07:47 5406.15 Kbps 367.28 Kbps 81.187.93.44
Speedtouch line stats have not changed.
Some info from AA would be appreciated or am I being too impatient?

There are issues presently. But it could be your VP or exchange. Check here: http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/
I'd submit a ticket to support.

Thanks for that, its very helpful. VP is on red and scheduled repair time is 3rd Feb, I hope they mean this year. Been green up till I moved to AAISP. I'll give them a bit more time before I ask support to nudge them.
