New Broadband quality checker.

Thought I'd try this out and am not sure if its a beta problem or AAISP. Speed seems normal.

Have you checked that your router is set up to respond to ICMP pings?
Have a browse through its setup pages to see if there is an option to allow this.

Afaik, it doesn't work for aaisp customers because it's a service provided by aaisp that we already have. It's the same as the line monitor graph in our control panel.

I thought AAISP used LCP echos, where as TBB uses ICMP echos so you could use both.

Not entirely sure tbh.

TBB's ping tester does use a FireBrick product to do the ping - it's an ICMP ping - the same as when you use the 'ping' command on your computer.

The graphs that we produce are similar, and you can run both at the same time.

Our graphs use LCP echos, which is at the PPP level - so lower level than an ICMP ping. We also overlay up/down traffic on our graphs which is useful.

The red on your TBB graph means that your router (or the IP it's pinging) is not replying - the main cause of this is a firewall or setting on the router to block pings.
