Removal of banding after issues received

I've always synced at the maximum 80000. A week or so ago I spent a day reconfiguring my network, which as it didn't go to plan resulted in a lot of resyncs. DLM got the hump (not surprisingly) and banded my line. Since then, other than a couple of planned re-connections my line has been very stable.

When looking in to when DLM might relent and remove the banding it was discovered I had a bridge tap. This is now resolved and the line is looking way better than ever before.

There's no need for the banding.

I thought ISPs could now request DLM reset without an engineer appointments. Is that the case as AAISP have so far declined to ask for the banding to be removed?

Yeah, you're correct. A bit strange that they denied it. Maybe because your line is connecting within acceptable range? Though, I thought AAISP would be an ISP that's more willing to do it.

Yes, we can request DLM resets... I'll take a look as to what's happening in this case as we don't usually have a problem in sending the request (sometimes the carrier may deny it and need more persuading)

DLM reset has now been submitted - seems like there was some confusion our side with the process - Shaun has also emailed you.

All being well, the DLM reset should happen overnight tonight.

Following Andrew and Shaun's help it's now back to a 79999/19999 sync.

Oooo... I didn't realise this could be done.

My line has been showing a max download of 29 - 30 Mbps for several months, but I'm stuck on a 25 Mbps banding from ages ago (when the max download was 23-25).

Any chance my banding could be lifted please ?
