I got excited on reading this; but it's only with the £10 a month add-on. Otherwise it's 1TB.

Good news indeed. Hopefully they'll eventually, in the not too distant future, offer a faster L2TP service as well *fingers crossed*.

It is -but even the basic Home 1 is going up to 1TB - The "they are not unlimited" argument is surely going away now no? 10TB is pretty much unlimited for most people these days.

I was looking at that L2TP service last night. I am hoping for more allowance and as you said a bit more speed - 200mbps is starting to fall behind I agree.

With roll overs I'm starting this month with almost 14.5TB, it is unlimited usage as far as I'm concerned and was even when it was 5TB.

Sure, but the premise of your post was just misleading I thought. It isn't the Home 1 service that is going up to 10TB, it's the Home:1 + 5TB option service that is going up to 10TB.

For my usage I'd have been fine on the 5TB option, and that's in a house that usually has one or other or several displays streaming pretty much non stop during waking hours. But my usage is above the 1TB level (about 2-2.5TB/month), so I'd still find myself having to buy up the product range. Hence my reading of the post going from hero to zero once I looked at the detail - for me it represented no change... smile

That's excellent. I totally forgot about rollover - is it still 1/2 of whatever is left?

Sorry - I just assumed most people go for the Home 1 + 5TB option.
