Naked DSL after PSTN shutdown

[link to this post]

I have a BT phone line still in use.

If I move that to A&A Naked DSL will that still work after the PSTN shutdown?

Also, for my understanding, is Naked DSL essentially a Fibe-To-The-Cabinet service with FTTC speeds, but no phone service?

True "naked dsl" from Openreach is called SOGEA.
Single Order Generic Ethernet Access.
It's DSL without PSTN.

I believe A&A don't do SOGEA yet. They still use (or used until recently) their bodged implementation that they used before SOGEA was a thing.
It's DSL + PSTN but with calls blocked.

A&A will need to offer a SOGEA service before the PSTN shutdown or they won't be selling any FTTC at all.

If I move that to A&A Naked DSL will that still work after the PSTN shutdown?

Anyone currently on A&A's "naked DSL" will need A&A to migrate them to a SOGEA service prior to the PSTN closure.

Edit: they are now gradually moving customers over to SOGEA apparently.

A&A are gradually moving existing customers to SOGEA. I was moved across at the beginning of December 2022.
