Interesting thing will be can OR pull fibre through the drive duct without using the old DSL cable to pull a rope.

You are correct they dug the drive and fitted new duct.

So that bit, at least, should pull through nicely.

A&A VoIP is completely independent from their broadband services. I use A&A VoIP and Aquiss for connectivity.

If the OP isn’t happy with A&A voice, they will be free to switch without any impact to their broadband.

Interesting to know, but it does look like an area ripe for thoughtless Business Process Re-engineering like "Why are we carrying Phone and FTTP as separate products? We should port customers on separate products on to a combined product."
That's never been how AAISP have operated, so I don't think there's much risk of that

I've used their VOIP service since April 2016 and I've used a number of ISPs in that time (including A&A for a bit). My spend with them for telephony is minimal but that has never been a problem for them

So they had rodded me duct and found that about a metre after the terminal post needs digging so have signed the OR fella's phone so now we wait for Civils. It's a shame because it could have been done today. It's about a metre from mine to the street that needs digging.

I guess this issue relates back to the "rectified loop at the drive post" that you mention here: https://forums.thinkbroadband.com/general/4771239-li... ?

Indeed although that turned out to be an extension wiring problem cured by disconnecting the extension.

Plusnet have just sent me an email with engineer appointment. It seems the online order they cancelled has gone live again so been on to them to cancel that which should be cancelled in 48 hours.

Now not sure who sent OR Plusnet or AA. Trying to clarify with AA.

So I got in touch with OR CEO's Office when this all started with Plusnet. So long and short of it the PN order which had risen from the dead on PN's end despite being cancelled was showing on OR system as still open. So that has now been cancelled and AA order remains in place. Just waiting for civils to dig the path, remove terminal post and duct the remaining metre into the street. Sent a couple of emails to AA but as yet had no reply except to reduce my package to 1tb.
