I guess at this stage you don't know if AA are are aware of the requirement for civils to dig the path etc. ?

Once the AA Full Fibre broadband is installed and activated you'll be able to relax for a while. Porting the phone number can be done later and that, as you know and planned, will automatically cease the TTB VDSL hopefully with minimal financial penalty.

Good luck, I admire your persistence in resolving these troublesome issues. When I had FTTP installed it was plain sailing since PTSN voice and ADSL were not tied to a single provider (SMPF) I'm still using PSTN voice but I did have to request a cease on the ADSL for which there was a fee, however it was on a one month minimum term so it wasn't a great hardship. I think keeping xDSL for a while after FTTP is up and running is generally, I think, a good contingency plan.

They should be aware of the need to dig as I have been emailing them throughout the day with OR CEO's progress and cancelling the PN order. I did get a text off them saying OR hadn't committed yet but that was last night.

So today the Civils visited and they started cutting concrete and putting up barriers. Looks like more than a metre into the street, there is that plus some street work that it marked up on the path.

No idea it may be connectorised underground it's all covered over now. Coil is about 30 metres but it only has to go a couple of metres to the room where the master socket is as requested on the AAISP order notes. No connector on the coiled end.
