I'd already got software that allows me to rip the occasional DVD, I got it via here.

That link now points to using Handbrake here. Haven't tried that approach, must do so though.

Thanks for that. I hadn't said that it was for a PC but, hey there are an odd few folk here using MACs so may be of use to them.

The thread is over 5 years old - I must admit until I looked at your posting history I was convinced you were a spammer getting ready to spam the forums. I am assuming that isn't the case but odd to necro a thread that old.
