A lot of dropped packets but no loss of internet

I got a new router yesterday, the Linksys x2000. After i set it up the internet seems fine however i created a new BQM to see what it reported. As you can see there are a lot of dropped packets, the internet itself (web browsing, youtube) seems fine. However i worried that if i try online gaming or something it's just not going to work.

I noticed in the FAQ section about the ICMP ping, there doesn't seem to be a setting for that in the router and the fact the graph isn't all red i guess it can't be that.

And yes the IP is still the same, so it's not a wrong IP.

Any ideas?

My Broadband Ping

I seem to have a spike every two hours (which is some automated testing software I am running), but the varying spikes reflect accurately when I was doing stuff with my connection. For example I started in the office at 9am, but the spikes between 8am and 9am reflect probably some data being served from the small webserver on this connection.

In your case the wide red section I presume is you having the router switched off?

No, the router has been on since yesterday.

Very odd, does the router have any DoS type protection systems? Sometimes these can deny ICMP if it sees a constant ping to the router

Not that i'm aware of, i couldn't find anything to do with DoS.
