I've been using the quality monitor to monitor my virgin media broadband for over 12 months. It has always worked well, but recently has started showing 100% packet loss all of the time, even though the broadband is still working. I used to have this problem with BT broadband and always assumed it was because BT block ICMP ping messages. Have virgin media started blocking the ICMP ping messages as well? Has anyone else noticed the monitor no longer works for virgin media?
