Presumably congestion/cross-talk on fibre line?

For the past few weeks, the BQM has developed a peak-time bump, which looking at the FAQs would suggest it's down to congestion.

(a relatively average to minor example>>)

During peak-times my line drops from 38Mb down / 9 up, to 3-8Mb down / 7-9 up. (Router currently plugged into test socket)

Is there realistically anything my provider (BT) can do about this?

If that's congestion, then they can increase the capacity of the backhaul at the exchange. The best thing to do is to report it as a problem to the ISP and get an engineer visit to see if you have a fault.
