STRANGE EFFECT..??

I created a monitor yesterday, no problem.
I disconnected my router circa 18:00 left it off till circa 19:15.
I then created another monitor, and did not bother deleting the original monitor.
I am on a different IP to original monitor of course.
On returning to the original with the intention of deleting it, it is showing still connected to my original IP, appears to have re-connected just before 22:00
Any explanation for this strange behaviour?

Somebody else now has your previous IP address so of course the BQM server is pinging it . You still need to delete it.

Thanks, was thinking along those lines, will now be deleted.

Agreed, that's why I ended up setting up a DDNS, that way I no longer have to delete and create new BQM's every time my connection resets.

Its a good feature now BQM supports.

Plusnet can supply a static IP for a one off payment, so I went that route.

you can just update the IP or change to hostname now on BQM (don't need to delete it) you keep all history you had from before as well
