Hi all, am new to think broadband and have been running the quality monitor for an afternoon.
The results are perfect green line up to 20ms, then constant blue line on top to 25ms, then a low but consistent yellow spikes on top to from 25 to 35 with the odd higher spike to 40. No packet loss.
Thoughts?
Thanks
Simon

Assuming you were doing the odd thing like web browsing then spikes are probably that. Need to see a copy of the graph via the share links to say more

Your shared the link to your profile - which will only work for you.
When you are on the page where you can see the calendar and your graph click the Share Snapshot Graph link under the graph, then click the Generate button and you will get a page of links and HTML you can share

For Virgin Media it looks pretty good, i.e. the band of yellow is fairly normal on the cable broadband service
The 4 spikes between 5pm and 11pm - probably just you doing something on the connection i.e. upload or download
The spikes at 1.30pm and 5am unexplained, could be connection stalled or you had a device doing some app updates so made connection busy for a short while.
The key is to see how things look and change over time i.e. each persons connection is different to some extent
