BQM showing solid red even though broadband is up

my BQM

Hi,
I created a BQM for my correct internet IP address, which initially worked ok but is now showing solid red. I've tried pinging my internet IP from an external source and seems to respond fine.

Any ideas why I am seeing this problem?

Yes sorry I thought I'd edited my post with an update, but maybe I didn't submit it...

I found another thread where someone had fixed a similar problem by turning off IP flood detection on their VM SH3 router. Looks like this might have fixed it for me

Looks like it has gone back to mostly solid red again.

It came back on at 18:20. Then a few minutes later perhaps you rebooted your router?

No actions at all were taken at my end of things.
The short drop seen at about 7pm was a genuine broadband issue. It's possible the router might have rebooted itself at that point, but it looks like the BQM had recovered before that happened.

Good time to check what? (No answer needed).

If the broadband is working fine, and as you know this happens because of a well-known quirk on VM that stops it responding to the BQM pings, why do you keep worrying about it?

MrSaffron has no control over the way VM runs its network, and you don�t have a broadband problem. I doubt if VM will alter their system either, if you complain to them.

Why don�t you just delete your BQM and relax? Does it tell you anything useful, that has any effect on your life, when it is working?
